Bettine is the Orchestra Manager, Lead Elementary Strings Teacher, Encore Conductor, and Summer Strings Academy Director for CYSA. She also maintains a private violin studio in Corvallis and enjoys coaching and performing gigs throughout Oregon. Previously to working with CYSA, she studied under Dr. Marlan Carlson at Oregon State University and graduated with a Master’s Degree in 2021. When not working or teaching, Bettine enjoys card games, baking cakes,  and traveling to see family. She is looking forward to another year with CYSA!
