Sara Hurwitz

Sara joined the CYSA staff this year as the Administrative Assistant. She previously served as Secretary on the CYSA Board and is excited to support CYSA in a new way. Sara has a Master’s Degree in Education and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She previously worked as a school psychologist in Foxborough, MA and Springfield OR. Sara played the viola with her middle and high school programs and then joined a community orchestra during college. Sara and her husband have lived in Corvallis for 16 years and have 2 daughters, both of whom play the viola in JHS. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
