Sara Hurwitz

CYSA Administrative Assistant

Sara joined the CYSA staff this year as the Administrative Assistant. She previously served as Secretary on the CYSA Board and is excited to support CYSA in a new way. Sara has a Master’s Degree in Education and is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She previously worked as a school psychologist in Foxborough, MA and Springfield OR. Sara played the viola with her middle and high school programs and then joined a community orchestra during college. Sara and her husband have lived in Corvallis for 16 years and have 2 daughters, both of whom play the viola in JHS. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family.  ​
